Maths in the Sunshine!

What a glorious week it has been! We have really enjoyed the sunshine! Being outside in our portacabin makes it easy for us to just open the door and take our learning outside! We set up 6 Maths games to keep us all busy and then worked our way round them all – it was lots of fun and we got to practise lots of maths skills too. In the shade of the gazebo we played our coordinates game, and did a team relay sorting numbers into piles of odd and even numbers, outside the classroom we played our Mr Men numberline games and on the grass we played Hoopla, Hundreds, tens and units! Up the slope we made symmetrical pictures using chalk, counters and numicon – but probably our favourite game was Estimating bubbles! Can you estimate how many bubbles we blew?
